Todd Fong
Certified Dental Technician / Master Ceramist
Hello, my name is Todd, and I’m the Master Ceramist and Certified Dental Technician at Dr. Diana Fat’s office. I’ve been in the dental lab business since I graduated from Diablo Valley College Dental Technicians program in 1983. I completed my post-graduate studies at UOP Dental School, San Francisco, and the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies. Throughout my career, I’ve traveled around the country to lecture and lead hands-on learning workshops.
While Dr. Fat and I have been working together for 15 years now, for the last 3 years I’ve transitioned into working “exclusively” with her in the office because of how much I enjoy meeting and working closely with patients to help create the “Perfect Smile” they’ve always wanted.
Outside of the office, I am a self-proclaimed “foodie. I love traveling, playing golf, riding my Peloton, and spending time with my wife, Anna, and children, Taylor and Tristan.
Cindi Gamboa
Practice administrator
Hello, I am Cindi. I am a Practice Administrator at Dr. Diana Fat’s office. I have worked in the dental field for 12 years.
When I’m not in the office, I enjoy gardening, crafting, and traveling with my husband.
Keri Ann, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
Hello, I’m Keri Ann or otherwise “KO”. I am one of the registered dental hygienist working at Dr Diana Fat’s Office. I completed schooling for dental hygiene in 2012 in Sacramento and went to further my education and completing Alternative Practice in 2017 at UOP San Francisco. I have been in working as a dental hygienist for 10+ years now. Currently, I enjoy working part-time helping our patients with their dental health needs.
It is a true passion being a dental provider and being able to give education and care to our outstanding patients. When I am not working I love spending time with my family. Traveling is a big part of my life and I wish to explore the world learning new things and tasting new foods.
Jade Cruz, RDA
Registered Dental Assistant
Hi, my name is Jade. I earned my Associates degree in Dental Assisting at Sacramento City College and became a licensed RDA in 2023. For nearly two years, I’ve had the privilege to work with Dr. Fat, who has introduced me to a higher level of dentistry—one that values precision, innovation, and going above & beyond for our patients.
Being chairside with Dr. Fat has sparked a growing interest with lab work, especially after witnessing the exceptional quality of crowns and cases created by Todd, our Master Ceramist. I’m excited about the opportunity to learn from Todd and continue expanding my skills under Dr. Fat’s guidance.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends. I’m also passionate about the arts—whether it’s crocheting, sketching, or creating anything with my hands. In addition, I love reading and spending time outdoors, especially hiking!
Dr. Roman Shvets
Prosthodontist (Ukraine) / Dental Assistant (USA)
Hello! My name is Dr. Roman Shvets. I am a dentist from Ukraine, currently working as a dental assistant at Dr. Diana Fat’s Clinic in Sacramento, California. I hold two higher medical degrees. I graduated from Vinnytsia National Medical University in 2013 with a degree in Dentistry, and in 2017 I earned a Pharmacy diploma. Over the course of my career, I expanded my professional expertise and obtained specializations in Prosthodontics, Dental Surgery, and General Dentistry.
For more than ten years, I have dedicated myself to providing high-quality dental care, managing my own clinic in Kyiv, Ukraine (SHVETS Dental Clinic), and training other dentists through courses and workshops I developed. I have extensive experience working with digital dentistry technologies, including CAD/CAM systems, digital smile design, and 3D printing, to deliver precise, aesthetic, and predictable results for my patients. My clinical philosophy has always been based on a personalized approach for each patient, maximum comfort, and minimally invasive, prevention-oriented treatment methods that ensure long-term oral health.
Due to the war, in 2024, my family and I were forced to relocate to the United States under the Uniting for Ukraine program. I have a wonderful family: my loving wife and our three young children and this decision was made for their safety and future.
As a result, I am starting my professional journey here from the beginning. I have passed the comprehensive INBDE board exam and am currently working alongside talented dental professionals, adapting my skills to the American healthcare system, and preparing to enter a U.S. dental school through an Advanced Standing Program. My goal is to continue helping people achieve healthy, confident smiles while advancing my career in the United States.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family, exploring new dental technologies, staying active and skiing.
Alexis
Provider Relations
Hi, I’m Alexis, and I’m responsible for Provider Relations. Although I recently joined the practice, I bring more than 12 years of experience in healthcare and operations, including an extensive background in analytics and relationship building. I enjoy connecting with our community and helping create a collaborative experience for our referring providers and their patients.
My background in analytics shapes how I approach my work—I appreciate the details, but I also believe that strong relationships and genuine connections are at the heart of a successful practice.
Outside of work, I love lifting heavy weights, exploring the outdoors, and anything artistic. Being near the water is one of my favorite ways to recharge. At home, I share life with two dogs and a very small cat who has somehow established herself as the undisputed household dictator.

Hi! My name is Alaina. I’m a dental assistant here in Dr. Fat’s office. I earned my Associate’s in Dental Assisting from Sacramento City College and became licensed in 2026. Working for Dr. Fat has confirmed my love for restorative dentistry, and I’m so grateful to have a role in giving patients the beautiful, healthy smiles they deserve.
Outside of the office, I enjoy crocheting, scrapbooking, and learning to cook new dishes.

Hi, my name is Julia, and I am a registered dental hygienist here at Dr. Diana Fat’s. I graduated from Loma Linda University in 2026 and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene. I am extremely honored and excited to be a part of this outstanding team.
Working alongside Dr. Diana Fat and our amazing team has given me a greater appreciation for Prosthodontics and has allowed me to become a more well rounded clinician. I love being in an environment where I can get to know each and every one of my patients, while helping them achieve healthy beautiful smiles.
Outside of work, I enjoy knitting, baking sweet treats, and spending time outdoors.
